No company for bowling – play with “PBA Pro Bowling”!
If you like sport videogames, you will be glad to hear this new – “Pro bowling” is back after 25 year`s pause of The Professional Bowlers Association. New kid “PBA Pro Bowling” was launched by rollin’, bowlin’ ball specialists FarSight Studios, which has created Pinball Arcade suite of virtual tables, had made one of the most natural video game sports, where player can play with real-life pros and all the trappings of broadcast presentation.
“Bowling games shouldn’t be more than $20, $30 tops, regardless of licenses, in gamers’ minds,” said Bobby King, vice president of FarSight Studios.
In “PBA Pro Bowling” players can pick-up-and-play in “arcade” mode that incorporates gimmicky power-up shots and also use straight-up simulation with a career mode, which was made for the sport’s more technical applications.
“There’s a true athletic skill that these bowlers have, and you don’t really see that when you’re just recreationally bowling, or even sometimes when you’re watching our production,” Edison said. “This game allows you to see how a different ball, maybe one made of urethane, affects how the shot’s gonna go. Your lane conditions, the oil patterns, these are things that the average viewer doesn’t really get access to.”
Only one cons to this game, that there is not enough tutorials, which could help users how to create that rake that reliably delivers strikes, but otherwise it may be another challenge for players to solve. (Polygon)
Pricing: $11(available for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC)
Another sue issue with “Fortnite”, now they blame tester in secret leakage of Chapter 2
No week without Fortnite`s news. This time Epic Games sues tester Ronald Sykes from North Carolina that “gave the game away” and leaked Fortnite Chapter 2 secrets. Developer says that game tester, with whom they had their non-disclosure agreement had spoiled some aspects of Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 1 before it`s official output.
Ronald Sykes used previously Twitter account @invisiblellama9, before it was deleted made tweeting from different Twitter user in late September about playing of S11 and that he could tell subscribers about the new stuff. Also he opened an image of the map, confirmation that players could swim in Fortnite Chapter 2 and other secret things of new chapter.
“As a direct result of Sykes’ breach of his contractual obligations under his NDA,” had commented Epic’s lawyers, “Epic has sustained and will continue to sustain damages in an amount to be determined. Because a trade secret is information that is valuable because it is secret” and if it loses its secrecy, “it loses its value”.
Now Epic asks that Sykes has to compensate them for “a sum certain reflecting the maximum amount of damages” permitted under the law, as well as the developer’s legal costs by the way of a civil action lawsuit. But at the moment Sykes did not respond to a request for comment, either. (Gamesradar)
