Boosteroid partners up with TCL Electronics to boost cloud gaming experience in Europe

Boosteroid, a web-based cloud gaming service, is entering into a partnership with TCL Electronics, one of the leading players in the global TV market.

The partnership’s primary goal is to bring TV owners and gamers in Europe a cloud gaming experience.

In recent years, demand for cloud gaming has constantly been growing. Thanks to telecommunications and data storage improvements and the increase in housebound gamers, the cloud’s gaming breakout moment is almost upon us. That is because it is not limited to any operating system or device, thus allowing both games and gamers to become more platform-independent and play games that would otherwise only run on Windows through browsers on any OS available be it Linux, Android, iOS, Mac or any other proprietary OS.

“This will allow even more people to feel included and get rich experiences in the expanding gaming community,” says Ivan Shvaichenko, CEO, Boosteroid

The main appeal of cloud gaming is instant, unfettered access to hundreds of digitally stored games without the need for expensive hardware investments into your PC or consoles or even to own one of those devices. The collaboration implies TV as an alternative to consoles and PCs, attracting consumers new to the industry. Thus, any owner of the TLC TV will get access to over 350 games through the preinstalled Boosteroid application.
