What’s new — Top-4 Boosteroid Updates

Long time no see!

Just in case you are new to Boosteroid — we’re a global cloud gaming provider. It means you can run PC games on outdated, low-end, ultraportable devices, as well as across different platforms and operating systems. Your high-end gaming rig is available on-demand from almost any device close at hand.

Many things have happened with Boosteroid in the recent months. Here’s a short digest of the most important updates for you to keep up!

1. The war in Ukraine.

Boosteroid’s main R&D center is based in Ukraine. Our team stays in Ukraine and runs the service globally despite the full-scale Russian military offensive. We are grateful for all the international support and encourage every member of the civilized world to help Ukraine and Ukrainian people as much as possible. It is the most intensive military conflict on European soil since World War II and it’s happening just a few hours by plane from major European capitals. We need to stand together for the present and the future!

2. The launch in the US.

Finallyyy! Boosteroid has launched 6 data centers across the US. It’s a soft launch, but hundreds of users from the US and Canada are already enjoying it. Though data centers are located in the US, the biggest cities of Canada are well-covered too! As Boosteroid servers are now closer to Mexico, Brazil and other Latin American countries, the gaming experience there has also improved significantly (however, the official launch in the LATAM region is scheduled for 2022-2023).

3. Partnership with Philips.

Boosteroid has an outstanding Android TV app that enables gamers to run their PC games directly on TVs without a console. This transforms a TV into a true gaming machine, which has never been possible before. Our new partnership with one of the world’s leading TV manufacturers, brings the Boosteroid app to millions of Philips TVs in Europe and beyond.

4. More Linux apps.

Ubuntu, Fedora, Debian, Mint — Boosteroid is making PC games available across different versions of Linux. Our Linux apps are optimized for running PC games on Linux devices and will bring you ultimate cloud gaming experience. Forget about “How do I run games on Linux?”. Now the question is “How do I stop running games on Linux via Boosteroid, because it’s so cool!”. Get apps here.
