Trick or Treat on Boosteroid – Find 42 Hidden Candies and Win Steam Gift Cards!
From October 26 to November 10, we’re challenging you to explore Boosteroid, discover hidden Halloween treats, and compete for Steam Gift Cards.
We’ve hidden 42 candies across Boosteroid, waiting for curious players to discover them. Why 42? Fans of The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy already know it’s the answer to life, the universe, and everything. This Halloween, it’s also the number of treats standing between you and a chance to win a prize!
How Does the Candy Hunt Work?
Halloween has arrived on Boosteroid, and we’ve prepared a treasure hunt for our players!
The rules are simple – explore Boosteroid, find hidden candies, and collect as many as you can.
Every time you spot a candy, click on it to add it to your collection. Your candy counter will keep track of your progress as you work toward finding all 42.
How to participate:
- Log in to your Boosteroid account.
- Explore and look for hidden Halloween candies.
- Click on the candies you discover to collect them.
- Follow Boosteroid on social media for clues and riddles that will help you complete the hunt.
- Find all 42 candies to qualify for a chance to win!
Important: An active Boosteroid subscription is required to collect some of the 42 candies and qualify for the prizes.

Finding all 42 candies might take some detective work, but you won’t have to rely entirely on luck.
Throughout the event, we’ll be sharing special clues, riddles, and hints on our social media channels to help you uncover some of the trickier hiding spots.
Some clues will point you in the right direction, while others might challenge you to solve a puzzle or look at something familiar from a different perspective.
Keep an eye on our social media posts throughout the event – a new clue might be exactly what you need to find your next treat!
What’s at Stake?
Five players who successfully collect all 42 candies will receive Steam Gift Cards.
- Main Prize – $30 Steam Gift Card: Awarded to the first player to find all 42 hidden candies.
- Four Additional Prizes – $20 Steam Gift Cards each: Four winners will be randomly selected from the players who collect all 42 candies before the event ends.
Steam Gift Cards will be awarded in USD, EUR, BRL, or UAH, subject to compatibility with your Steam account region.
When Does the Hunt Take Place?
The Trick or Treat event runs from October 26 through November 10, 2026.
