Boosteroid is live on LG TVs

Following the announcement of the partnership between Boosteroid and LG in January at the CES in Las Vegas, Boosteroid is now released on all webOS 2021-2023 TVs in Europe, North America and a part of LATAM.

Boosteroid webOS TV client allows for playing hundreds of popular PC games directly on LG TVs with no console or set-top box required. Users sign up for Boosteroid, pick a game, log into their game account and enjoy playing on the big screen. A game will be running on a remote Boosteroid gaming desktop and the gameplay will be streamed to an LG TV via the Internet.

Boosteroid is compatible with the most popular controllers, like Xbox Series S|X, Xbox One, PS4, PS5, Stadia, etc. Mouse and keyboard are not supported, so a gamepad will be necessary. Players can also use the Boosteroid Gamepad app available on Google Play Store to turn their Android smartphone into a gamepad. A stable internet connection speed of at least 25 Mbps and preferably a fiber connection will be needed to enjoy the best experience on TV.

We are excited to go live on LG Smart TVs– headlined by the company’s most advanced range of OLED TVs yet. Big screen gaming is a part of a much bigger content transformation process. Streaming of games directly on TV will soon enable a brand new interactive entertainment experience – fully interactive movies, partially rendered on gaming engines.” — says Ivan Shvaichenko, the CEO at Boosteroid.

In addition to over 30 million Android TV devices, where Boosteroid is preinstalled or integrated with the interface, Boosteroid is currently available in the LG Content Store in the category “Game” on all webOS 2021-2023 TVs.

Boosteroid’s online customer support team is available 24/7 via the chat in the bottom right corner of boosteroid.com and cloud.boosteroid.com. The team is ready to assist with any issue related to the operation of Boosteroid on LG TVs, the use of gamepads or Boosteroid Gamepad app, Internet connection, etc.
